Hi!

Welcome to DIY Darling! I'm a twenty-something figuring out how to design my dream life on a dime. Let's take this journey together!

Hello Darlings! I’ve been soaking up the last bits of summer but am also starting to crave the crisp fall weather that I know is soon approaching. I’ve been noticing that a lot of creators on social media are firmly in their ‘Halloween’ era, that feels entirely too soon for me. I am of the belief that you should enjoy the present moment you are in, and it’s still hot hot HOT here in Colorado. Definitely not in the Halloween/fall-mood quite yet.

For my Saturday Share this week, I have a new country-ish album that I’m really enjoying by Post Malone, a fascinating book about oyster farmers in Louisiana, a protein-filled breakfast that I’ve been meal prepping, and more. Wishing you all a wonderfully long Labor Day weekend ahead!

These Sun-Dried Tomato & Feta Egg Cups are SO GOOD and really easy to make. I’ve been meal-prepping them on Sunday to enjoy for the week ahead. I’m noticing that I feel fuller and more satiated with a protein-filled breakfast.

Post Malone is seriously having a moment! Collaborations with Beyoncè and Taylor Swift, and now a full album filled with even more collabs! I like the country-inspired vibe to this album and I’m finding that I continue to press play each time I get in the car.

I love reading about a different perspective and life than my own, and Pearce Oysters certainly delivered. Centered around a multi-generation family oyster farm business during the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, I found this book to be a total page turner.

Who among us isn’t enjoying the new season of Emily in Paris on Netflix? I know I certainly am! In fact, I binged the entire Part One drop in one evening (I know I’m not alone here!). Really looking forward to the Part Two drop in a few short weeks!

Calling all plant parents! This moisture meter is the reason my indoor plants are thriving, I’m sure of it. Both easy to use and really accurate, just insert the tip of the meter in the plant’s soil and it will tell you whether or not the plant needs more water.
