Colorful, comfortable, and bohemian are all descriptors my client used to describe herself and her design style. Through a deeply collaborative process, we utilized every inch of her studio apartment to maximize living space and style.
Leaning into the client’s vision of a “midnight in the tropics” dining room, I transformed this blank box apartment into a moody and bold space. Sourcing the wallpaper first, I then pulled complementary colors to inform all other design decisions. The result is a space that feels lived-in and old-world-inspired - the perfect cozy dining nook to start and end each day.
High drama and luxury were words my client used to describe her dream primary bedroom. Inspired by the 13-feet mural that ultimately served as the backdrop to her California-King bed, the goal in this space was to make it feel like a high-end boutique hotel.
Opting for soft neutrals in shades of white, grey and ivory, I leaned heavily into texture for this client’s nursery. Beautiful complementary patterns found throughout the space helped to give a soft, cozy feeling to the new mama and her newborn.
