Back for another Saturday Share. This week I share my new skin care regimen, a podcast that had me laughing out loud, a fabulous summer salad, a page-turner book, and a nerdy Netflix show.
I’ve stayed busy working on my next book deadline, booking summer travel, and getting started on the design on my creative office. Follow along on Stories. Also, have you joined Threads yet? So far, I’m hooked. It’s like the original Twitter, but better. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
What I’m Using:
I’ve been searching for a new skin care regimen and decided to give Scarlet Johannson’s line, The Outset, a try. I heard her interview on the Goop podcast and like learning about the natural ingredients used to make the products. So far, I really like it, especially the moisturizer. It gets so dry in Colorado that it can be tough to find something that really works. I also like that it’s not outrageously expensive. I’m going to stick with this line and see how it works long term!
What I’m Cooking:
Half Baked Harvest hits another home run with this Spiced Chopped Chicken Salad. I swear every time Berto and I are looking for a new recipe to try, we crack open her cookbook and everything always turns out great. I loved the crunch of the pita chips in this salad and found it to be super filling for a weeknight dinner.
What I’m Listening To:
Okay this title alone had me hooked. Who Shat On the Floor at my Wedding is a true crime journey based on a true story and it’s hilarious. They have real experts in the crime-solving field help them figure it out. I’m only halfway through so I don’t know if they ever find the culprit, but I’m definitely going to keep listening to find out!
What I’m Reading:
What a STORY! Blake Crouch has a way of crafting a story with twists and turns that you don’t see coming. I stayed up past midnight to finish this book and was blown away by the ending. A true page turner!
What I’m Watching:
The nerd in me is showing. I love watched The Witcher with my husband and season 3 just came out on Netflix. We got hit was a massive hail and thunderstorm on the 4th of July so we ended up binging most of the new season. It’s awesome - and better than season 2 in my opinion!
